404-listener Blake Stevenson heard us fanning out on The Sandlot during yesterday's episode, so he whipped up a 404ified poster for today's blog image. Thanks Blake!
It's almost the end of the work week, so Natali Del Conte is on the show and she's bringing the dirty starting with the queen of filthy pop, Lady Gaga. According to video analytics company Visible Measures, the diva has just become the first artist ever to achieve one billion online...

If you couldn't tell by the hockey picture and the well-placed Sandlot quotation in the title, today's episode of The 404 Podcast celebrates Jeff's 28th birthday! Wilson and I are fully prepared to light up a string of firecrackers for Bakalar, but our third host is less than enthused about his age, so leave a comment and wish him a very happy birthday, will you?
Aww, Mom!!!

Pucker up! The 404 Podcast cordially invites you to help us celebrate Kiss An Asian Day! Wilson and I are clearly delighted with this extremely made-up holiday, whereas Jeff couldn't be stuck in a more compromising position. Yesterday also happened to be International Talk Like William Shatner Day, so the first story in today's rundown is about his new social network that is aimed at sci-fi nerds. Myouterspace.com is still in beta (Shatner's Twitter is apparently taking suggestions), but...

Young 404 Padawan Daniel visits The 404 studio
A lot of critics accuse The 404 of resorting to juvenile humor for cheap laughs, and even if that's absolutely true, we've never had an actual 14 year old call us out on it...until this morning, when young Daniel ...

Listener Ammi from Sweden visits Jeff Bakalar, Justin Yu, and Wilson Tang of The 404 Podcast
(Credit:
CNET/The 404)
Longtime 404 listener Ammi took some time out of her busy vacation from Sweden to drop by our studios this morning, so we invite her on the show to tell us about her first trip to the United States...and also to help us locate Sweden on the map, because we're geographically hopeless. Ammi's only been here a few days so far, but her observations on the chaos and consumerism of...

Today's episode of The 404 Podcast starts off with a intimate glimpse into Justin's mind, so we recommend throwing on some goggles before watching. He reveals that his name was initially supposed to be Jonathan, but due to complications surrounding the pronunciation of his name, the doctor just shortened it to the simpler-sounding Justin. Jeff also has a funny story about...

Another masterpiece by Props Guy Jim! This time he made a custom license plate for Daniel Deutsch's full-size replica Land Speeder from "Star Wars." Taken at Megacon in Orlando, Fla., thanks so much Jim!!! Click pic for alternative view.

Wilson's made a fully recovery and is back on today's show, just in time to help us celebrate St. Patrick's Day! We're celebrating the best way we know how without actually drinking alcohol on the show--anyone else notice...

Wilson's still out sick, but it's hard to miss the little guy when we have Natali Del Conte in the studio to keep us company. Our listeners in Southern California must miss him dearly, because they stomped their feet in unison at 4:04AM yesterday and caused a 4.4 magnitude earthquake! No major damage or injuries were caused by the quake, so we're taking this as a friendly warning not to break up the crew!
We're hoping none of us ever gets to see the backseat of the new...

With Wilson nursing a flu, Natali Del Conte comes in to save the day and somehow manages to work up the nerve to challenge me to a habanero chili pepper eating competition. Clearly she doesn't know I was president of Edison High School's Fire Eater's Club and eat Scoville units for breakfast. Then again, her last name is Del Conte, which automatically gives her an advantage. May...

All week long we've been talking about the popularity of 3D technology, both in the home and in the theater, and we've finally decided to invite someone on the show to answer our questions on the future of home theater. David Katzmaier, Senior Editor of TVs and Home Theater for CNET, joins us on today's episode of The 404 podcast to fill us in on the latest developments in the world of 3D TVs and what we can expect to see down the line.
3D TVs were easily the biggest trend...
