    The federal government has awarded a new contract to Raytheon Canada, and the company will soon be taking over for Nasittuq. The Nunatsiavut Group of Companies owns shares in Nasittuq. James Thorbourne is the president and CEO of NGC.

    CBC Radio and TV is in mourning today. Colleague and long-time journalist John Furlong has died. Furlong was 63. He died within weeks of being diagnosed with cancer.
