Johann Johannsson: Miners' Hymns

Iceland is home to one of the most vibrant music scenes in the world, and Johann Johannsson is one of its leading composers.  He creates haunting and evocative soundscapes for orchestral brass or strings with live electronics, and today shares with us his music for the Bill Morrison silent film "The Miners' Hymns."  Watch the trailer for Bill Morrison's "The Miners' Hymns" here.
